The MD-4K flaw detector is designed to detect surface defects of the type of metal discontinuity by the magnetic particle method in local areas of large-sized parts by creating an applied permanent magnetic field.
Permanent magnets are used as magnetizing elements, therefore the flaw detector does not require power supply, which allows its use in explosion-proof, fire-hazardous environments, at construction sites, assembly and welding sites, during inspection of high-pressure equipment, internal surfaces of vessels and vessels, welded joints, pipelines in the field.
