The AGFA NDT M Eco Compact Developing Machine was specifically designed to handle small and medium batches of roll film (2 to 5 m). It is a small copy of the STRUCTURIX NDT-S Eco machine. It can be used for work in a stationary laboratory or transported as part of a mobile laboratory.
AGFA NDT M Eco is a particularly environmentally friendly development machine. Its distinctive features:
Economical consumption of water and electricity.
Infrared drying that minimizes heat transfer in the photo room.
Optimal dosing of solutions.
Intermediate flushing system, which ensures that the developer does not get into the fixative tank, which keeps the fixer in optimum condition. This system also prevents the appearance of defects on the film from the developer.
In the AGFA NDT M E development machine, the cascade fixation method is used. The exposed film is first processed in the developer, then washed in the intermediate washing tank, which prevents the appearance of defects from the developer on the film. Then the film is 100% fixed in the first fixative tank and rinsed in the second. Since the replenishment with fixative is made in the second fixative tank, the concentration of silver in it remains very low, and as a result, the amount of silver in the wash water is reduced to 40 mg / m2.
