X-ray device ARINA-7 is a portable X-ray pulsed emitter. Designed and manufactured to control the internal structure of materials, it is widely used to check the quality of metal joints, primarily welded joints of pipelines at facilities in non-stationary conditions. As with all flaw detectors of the ARINA series, this model is a suitable solution for radio defectoscopy specialists working at the exits.
It is convenient to transport it, - together with the control panel it weighs only 14 kg. Add to this the weight of an autonomous power supply, for example, SPRUT IPA-24.18 - 13.5 kg. Experienced professionals have always appreciated this factor. And although in recent years, manufacturers have focused on the production of generating monoblocks operating at a high frequency of converting the supply voltage to an increased voltage with its subsequent multiplication and rectification (using more complex electronic circuits and expensive components), however, the mass of only monoblocks without sources of autonomous power, is about 15-30 kg. This greatly complicates the use of monoblock X-ray flaw detectors in route-mounting conditions.
Features of the X-ray apparatus ARINA-7
The design of the X-ray flaw detector ARINA-7 involves the use of various devices for fixing the device at different angles with the direction of the radiator to the junction of the pipeline. To do this, we produce special tripods and magnetic mounts. Due to the fact that all ARINA devices have a relatively uniform radiation with a radiation pattern within a hemisphere, they can be used to make a panoramic survey from the center of the pipe. This kind of research requires the use of special carts. In this case, SPRUT-1TP trolleys are suitable for ARINA.
To obtain better-quality images by reducing the effect of scattered X-ray radiation on the film during frontal scanning, it is recommended to use the XRS-AP collimator.
Control of ARIN-7 is carried out with the help of simple manipulations. On the front panel of the remote control panel (connected to the emitter by a high-voltage cable 25 m long) there are controls and displays. The device is equipped with an exposure timer with several time ranges, there is protection against the absence of load when the connection between the console and the emitter unit is lost. The device is equipped with a safety lock, which eliminates its unauthorized activation, there is a built-in protection of the high-voltage unit from overheating.
If you need additional information regarding the features of non-destructive radiographic monitoring using ARINA pulsed x-ray machines (ARINA-3, ARINA-7, ARINA-9), recommended film types, used screens, thickness of the illuminated metal, choice of exposure time, some of our Experts have many years of experience not only in sales of this equipment, but also in working with it in various conditions. Write or call, they will be happy to help you.
